Welcome Educators

The University of Texas Press publishes the results of original research in a variety of disciplines. This section will help you find books that are appropriate for course use.

If you're a faculty member, we'd like your input for improving this part of our site; please take a couple minutes and fill out our survey.

Examination and Desk Copies

At our discretion, faculty members may order discounted copies of books to consider for classroom use; desk copies are also available to faculty who have adopted a title for a course. Here you can review our policies and place orders for examination copies (for faculty who are considering a book for a course) and desk copies (for faculty who have already decided to use a book and have placed their campus bookstore order).
